Noah Kahan’s Secret Vermont Wedding: What We Know

Noah Kahan is officially married! The singer tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, whose name he has asked be kept private, in his home state of Vermont on August 23, 2025, according to an official statement issued by his team. No photos have been released of the couple’s big day, which appears to have been an intimate ceremony with close family members and friends. The White River Valley Herald reported that Kahan said “I do” to his partner at the Strafford Town House, one of the most historic sites in the singer’s New England hometown.

Even though Kahan has never confirmed how he met his new spouse, the two were first linked in April of 2020, when the songwriter uploaded an Instagram post that tagged her in the caption. Since then, the “Stick Season” star has kept their dynamic relatively private, only choosing to publicly mention their relationship on a handful of occasions. However, in 2024, the singer confirmed his engagement in a vinyl dedication. “To my fiancé[e], you are the air I breathe,” he wrote. “You are everything and whatever is left after that. I could spend the rest of my life thanking you for getting me through this, and I promise I will. I love you to the moon and back.” In an Instagram post later that same year, he expressed his gratitude for her support over the course of his multi-year tour. “I was cheered on through it all by my fiancé[e], by my parents and siblings, my incredible band, my management and the extraordinary crew of folks who all gave 2.5 years of their life to this magical sequence of dreams,” he wrote.

The couple exchanged vows at the Strafford Town House. Built in 1799, the venue is one of the oldest meeting houses in Vermont. In addition to hosting Stafford’s annual town meeting, the space is also available for exhibitions, concerts, graduations, lectures, and, of course, weddings. Yet, even though the centuries-old building served as the location for the duo’s ceremony, they likely held their post-nuptial celebration elsewhere. According to the town’s website, wedding receptions are not permitted at the site.

While a number of local Strafford residents knew of Kahan’s wedding plans, the information remained fairly private, The White River Valley Herald noted. It’s unclear how many friends and family attended the couple’s nuptials. However, the number of attendees couldn’t exceed 200 people due to the venue’s capacity restrictions.

Who Is Noah Kahan’s Wife?

Kahan’s new spouse lives a relatively private life. However, she has supported the singer-songwriter at a number of red-carpet events, including at the 2023 TIME100 Next Gala and the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, which were held on February 2, 2025. She is reportedly involved with The Busyhead Project, a charity founded by the “Maine” star dedicated to supporting mental health initiatives. She also appears to be an avid runner; on October 6, 2024, Kahan was spotted cheering her on at the finish line of the Maine Half Marathon in Portland, Maine.
