The One You Have Been Thinking About for Way Too Long
You already know what it is.
You did not even need to finish reading the title before something in you quietly pointed at the thing. The idea you keep returning to. The plan sitting in the notes app you open and close without doing anything. The version of yourself you keep saying you will become when the timing is better.
The timing is not going to get better.
But here is the good news. It does not need to. Because the step you have been postponing is almost never as large or as terrifying as the space you have given it to grow in your head.
Let me show you what I mean.
The thing is smaller than the fear around it.
Fear is not proportional to danger. It is proportional to unfamiliarity.
The reason that step feels enormous is not because it is genuinely enormous. It is because you have never taken it before and your brain is treating the unknown like a threat instead of an opportunity.
But think about every other first step you have ever taken.
The first time you published something. The first time you pitched a client. The first time you charged real money for your work…
