Have you ever been lectured for hours by someone who firmly believes they’re always right?
Worse yet, the lecture comes disguised as kindness — “I’m only saying this for your own good” — but in reality, it’s nothing more than a self-righteous imposition of their values.

If someone truly believes you’re in the wrong, they could simply state the issue briefly and move on with a simple, “Be careful next time.”
But those who think they’re above you don’t want resolution.
They want ecstasy — the intoxicating rush of moral superiority.

Once they taste that high from making someone submit through a lecture, they crave it again and again.
No matter how much you apologize or try to make amends, they won’t stop until they’ve drained every drop of satisfaction from your guilt.

“Hey, don’t you think it’s weird to watch another guy’s Vtuber stream when your husband’s sitting right here?”
“Sorry… I just clicked it because I was curious.”
“Oh, I see. Guess I’m not good-looking, funny, or interesting enough, huh?
Sigh…”
“That’s not what I meant. I’m sorry.”
“If you’re sorry, why’d you watch him in the first place?”
“…”
“I’m saying this because I care about you.”
“I’m sorry…”
“If you’re really sorry, why’d you do it?”

And so it goes — an endless sermon until the lecturer’s emotional thirst is quenched.
For the one being lectured, it’s torture. Eventually, you stop thinking for yourself. You focus solely on not provoking anger, silencing your own thoughts just to survive.

Unlike physical violence, lectures don’t leave visible bruises. Without recordings, the psychological damage is hard to prove.
But make no mistake — these people consciously look for excuses to get angry.

They want to be mad. The content of their “lesson” doesn’t matter; they just need a fix.
It’s no different from eating when you’re hungry — anger is their meal.

Imagine you caught a long-wanted murderer.
If a lecture junkie feels the urge, they’d still scold you: “Even wanted criminals have a life! Don’t you think it’s cruel to send him to prison?”
Or, if you donated to an animal rescue group, they’d sneer, “What a waste of money! You could’ve bought a good meal with that!”

If you were raised among sane people, it may sound unbelievable.
But yes — there really are people who spin such insane logic just to explode. And they come in all genders.

If someone close to you — especially your partner — behaves like this, you need to be careful.
Because the “wife who clicked on a male Vtuber’s archive” I mentioned earlier? That was me.

And the lecture?
It happened in a crowded sushi restaurant.

While eating delicious sushi, my husband lectured me for an hour straight, his face twisted like a demon’s.
I tried to fake-cry just to end it, but after so much mental exhaustion, I accidentally started actually crying.

Did that stop him?
Of course not.
Seeing me cry only made him more excited.

When I reached for my phone to top up my e-money for the bill, he snapped again:

“Oh, so charging your e-wallet is your way of saying ‘hurry up and finish eating,’ huh?!”

Apparently, my crime of watching a male Vtuber had already been forgotten — now I was guilty of charging too soon.

That man is currently crying in court.
Because I sued him for divorce.
