The law of Love-Energy (God) is that what I give to my fellow creatures is a gift to me. I have misunderstood what giving means and thought to save what I desired for myself alone. But I found a space with no meaning, full of nightmares and hatred. As I travel toward the Universe (also God), I realize that all humans are heading home, and that sin is nothing more than a dream.
When I hold others in prayer and meditation, I move into a serene state where I commune with the peace and perfections of the Cosmos. I’m not trying to rescue or fix something for people; I’m only practicing presence in Love-Energy and holding a vision of wholeness, even if they are not able to do it for themselves. This wholeness is already inside them as Christ (God within). I don’t try to deny the reality of loss and adversity that are part of the human experience. I invoke spiritual protection and healing as I focus on the strength of Christ.
We encounter the sacred by paying attention to the life around us and the ground beneath our feet. The sacred is that which pulls us beyond the bounds of self, envelopes us with mystery, and gives us a glimpse into the vast, entwined, eternal network of living things that we are in a relationship with from our very existence. We are fully human and recognize that we are also entangled down to our nuclei and electrons in the Earth and the Cosmos.
Whatever we believe about God, Love-Energy, the Universe, holy text, and pilgrimages, all of us hold within ourselves the potential to be pinned in place by a sacred spot. This present moment may appear full of turmoil, disconnected from the living world, separated, with the destruction of forests and other environmental tragedies. But somewhere is open to you, in your home, your yard, or a local park within walking distance. Make it your sacred spot and connect with the Universe.
I surrender to the action of Love-Energy (God), reconnect with the ocean of being, realize that at my core, I am Love-Energy, and willingly live in The Cloud of Unknowing with faith.

I vacillate between using the term “God,” the “Universe,” and “Love-Energy”. I don’t believe God is a being. God is everything all rolled into one energy. There are many types of energy, and God is Love-Energy. Neither energy nor matter can be destroyed; it can only transform.
