Princess Diana’s Niece Lady Eliza Spencer Is Engaged!

Lady Eliza Spencer is officially engaged! On July 31, 2025, the model announced that she and Channing Millerd had decided to take the next step in their relationship. “Forever and Ever ♥️,” she wrote in the caption of the Instagram post, which featured three photos of the proposal. For the occasion, Princess Diana’s niece wore a high-neck red dress with gold jewelry and tan sandals—while her fiancé, Channing Millerd, donned a long-sleeve button-up and white pants. In the first picture, the model made sure to show off her new diamond: a pear-shaped jewel on a platinum band.

“Eliza Spencer’s engagement ring features a three-carat pear-shaped diamond in the D–F color range with VVS clarity,” says Benjamin Khordipour at Estate Diamond Jewelry. “It is surrounded by a halo of micro-pavé-set diamonds and has additional micro-pavé diamonds along the shoulders and platinum band. Based on the diamond quality and design, I estimate the ring as being worth $120,000.” The proposal between the two unfolded in Santorini, Greece. And while the couple has yet to break down all of the details of their engagement, it appears to have unfolded over a waterside dinner while the two were on vacation. Photos of the gorgeous setup show a small table—with bottles of Champagne and votive candles on top of it—with a view of the ocean at sunset. A bundle of white and pink florals is seen next to the picturesque arrangement.

The soon-to-be newlyweds reportedly started dating in 2016. Earlier this year, Spencer revealed more about their partnership in an interview with Hello!. “We have such a strong, loving and supportive relationship,” she said. “He truly is my best friend. We understand each other so well, and no matter what life brings, we’re always there for one another. I absolutely believe he’s The One – our bond is built on so much trust, laughter and shared values.”

Even though the duo just announced their engagement, they already seem to know what type of celebration they’d like to host for their nuptials. “We love the idea of a destination wedding,” Spencer told Hello!. “We feel drawn to Italy, especially somewhere by the ocean—that feels so romantic to us.” However, in the same interview, Spencer also mentioned that she may take inspiration from her twin sister’s 2023 nuptials when planning her own celebration. “Spain has that same coastal charm we adore,” she told the outlet. “At the same time, Amelia and Greg’s wedding in Cape Town was unforgettable, and South Africa will always be home.”
