According to the New York Post, the couple’s wedding will allegedly cost about $10 million, which is much lower than initial reports of over $500 million.
So, what’s the money going to? The source notes that the wedding will be “intimate,” with 200 family members and close friends in attendance. That means the couple is shelling out about $50,000 per guest on the big day. Attendees are said to include A-listers like Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom. And, if you consider the guests who joined the couple to celebrate their engagement, it’s quite possible that Oprah, Bill Gates, Miranda Kerr, and others could all be included in the festivities, too.

Those guests will be treated to luxury accommodations, the source notes. The couple and their attendees are reportedly staying at the Aman Venice and the Gritti Palace, which cost around $500,000 per night, the New York Post reports. The outlet adds that docking fees for the couple’s yacht, which will be used for “excursions,” photography, décor, wedding fashion, and more are all driving the event’s price tag up.
What the budget won’t be spent on? Certain luxury entertainment, the source explains. Previous rumors that Lady Gaga and Elton John had been hired to perform are being called completely “false.” “That’s ridiculous,” the source told the New York Port.
Bezos and Sánchez have been planning the wedding for over two years, ever since their December 2023 engagement, in which the bride-to-be received a 30-carat diamond ring. “I have to say, I do have a Pinterest,” Sánchez told Today in November of 2024. “I’m just like every other bride.” They’ve devoted a great deal of time, People reports, to ensuring their wedding doesn’t disrupt the city of Venice. “We are mutually working and supporting the organizers, to ensure that the event will be absolutely respectful of the fragility and uniqueness of the city,” a statement from the couple said.
