How have you been doing? I hope you’re doing good these days, or at least as good as you can be.

Do you sleep well?

Do you eat well?

I can’t help it but I still worry about you sometimes. I wonder if someone is checking on you, listening to you after a long day, or keeping you company if your day gets tough. I hope you don’t have to go through everything completely alone.

I also miss you a lot. I miss your cooking, your hug, your innocent sleeping face. I miss having you around. My room really feels empty and quiet since you left. Nobody reminds me to take supplements, nobody to share a cat video with, nobody shows up and brings my favorite Yoghurberry or Yochi, andI miss exploring new places to eat together. We are boyh back to doing everything on our own again, and it feels quite lonely.

It’s been pretty hard for me as well. The numb, the emptiness, the sadness, everything comes in waves. Sometimes I feel okay. Sometimes I feel great, most of the times I feel sad. Deciding to go our separate ways was really difficult. I thought about it a lot and I knew our differences would hurt us more if we kept going. My feeling of guilt is really heavy because I know how much effort you put into understanding me. All the little things you did was precious. All your help. All the things you tried to make our life better and smoother, I really appreciate it.

I regularly put myself in your shoes. How hard your life must have been. Working long hours, having no family around, handling so much on your own, sometimes I feel like I was being unfair to you throughout our relationsip. You’ve done a lot to me, but sometimes the difficult moments just outweighed the good. You didn’t deserve that, and neither did I. But I still had to make this decision. I really had to. And I’m really sorry.

Thank you for bringing colors to my life. Even though our time together was short, it was really meaningful to me. I hope people around you see how precious your good and cute little sides are. I hope you meet someone who treats you way better and matches you in every way.

I hope the loneliness is not too overwhelming for you, but if it does, I hope this small writing of me can give you warmth and comfort.

Because remember, you are precious. Always.

And thank you for everything.
