Humans are so naive.
So naive that, out of all the 8 billion people, we choose one and quietly hand them our heart in a way that they can either make it or break it. Their actions, their words, their silences begin to shape us, slowly changing who we are. We trust that one in a billion so wholeheartedly that we start to follow without question, as if their voice matters more than our own.

Maybe it’s not just naivety, maybe it’s the way we’re built to love, deeply and without measure. It’s important to have someone like that in your life too… but this time, don’t sell your heart to them grow love in it together. Let it be something you build, not something you hand over.

Because when it becomes someone else’s responsibility to fill your heart’s jar with love, it often turns into a weight they were never meant to carry and somewhere along the way, it cracks under the pressure.

So keep enough love within yourself that your jar is never empty to begin with. Let it be full, steady, and whole on its own so that when someone comes along, they don’t have to fill it… they simply make it overflow 🙂
