The Purpose of Life: Aligning with the Singular Force | by Zsolt Hermann | May, 2025

Introduction: The Search for Meaning

From the moment we are born, many of us navigate life without a clear sense of purpose. We stumble blindly, driven by fleeting desires that we strive to fulfill, only to find ourselves often unsatisfied and empty. Despite our efforts, the rewards we seek seem disproportionate to the energy we expend. This aimless wandering stems from a fundamental lack of understanding: we do not inherently know who we are or what role we play in the vast, ever-evolving system of existence.

Yet, there is a profound truth awaiting discovery: every human being has a unique and elevated purpose. This purpose is to reveal and attain the singular force that creates, nurtures, and governs all of reality — a force that operates with precision and benevolence. This article explores how we can achieve this purpose by consciously transforming ourselves, surrendering our egoistic nature, and integrating into a spiritual system that aligns us with this singular force, often referred to as the Creator.

The Human Condition: Egoism and Disconnection

By nature, humans are born with an egoistic, selfish, and individualistic disposition. Our default perception is subjective, revolving entirely around our personal desires and self-interest. This inherent nature is the opposite of the singular force that governs reality — a force characterized by altruism, love, and bestowal. As a result, our instinctive pursuit of self-gratification leads to a distorted view of reality, leaving us disconnected from the deeper purpose of our existence.

Our lives often become a cycle of chasing randomly awakened desires, exerting immense effort to satisfy them, and yet remaining unfulfilled. This dissatisfaction arises because our egoistic nature cannot align with the benevolent, purposeful system of the Creator. To fulfill our true purpose, we must undergo a profound transformation, consciously choosing to move beyond our inherent tendencies and toward a state of equivalence with the Creator’s qualities.

The Path to Purpose: Self-Nullification

The journey to align with the singular force begins with a radical act: the complete nullification of our egoistic, selfish nature. This process requires us to forsake our original, individualistic perception and surrender fully to the Creator’s system. Only by letting go of our ego — our sense of self as the center of existence — can we give birth to a new, selfless observer within us. This new observer is capable of perceiving, researching, and understanding the Creator’s singular plan, in which we each have a unique and elevated role.

Self-nullification is not about self-destruction but about liberation. By relinquishing our egoistic desires and subjective worldview, we create space for a new perspective — one that transcends the boundaries of time, space, and physical motion. This selfless observer becomes a single point of connection to the Creator’s system, free from the constraints of ego-driven perception.

To achieve this transformation, we must willingly place ourselves in the hands of the Creator, like a patient on an operating table, trusting that the changes made will align us with His benevolent qualities. This surrender is not for the Creator’s sake but for our own, so that we may come to know and feel, with absolute certainty, that the Creator is the singular, purposeful, and benevolent force governing all of reality.

The Spiritual Simulator: A Group of Mutual Commitment

Achieving equivalence with the Creator’s system is not a solitary endeavor. Our egoistic nature is deeply ingrained, and overcoming it requires a unique environment — a “spiritual simulator” that facilitates our integration into the Creator’s altruistic system. This simulator is a special, closed group of individuals who are mutually committed, responsible, and devoted to helping one another attain the Creator’s qualities.

In this group, each member works selflessly to support the others, free from subjective self-concern or individualistic calculations. The group operates as a microcosm of the Creator’s system, where love, bestowal, and mutual complementation replace egoism and competition. By participating in this environment, individuals neutralize their egoistic tendencies and begin to adopt the Creator’s qualities of altruism and unity.

The group serves as a “loophole” or adaptor, making us compatible with the Creator’s system. Through the collective effort of the group, we build a new perception of reality — one that is no longer centered on the self but on the shared goal of attaining the Creator. This environment provides the motivation and fuel needed to sustain our spiritual growth, replacing the ego’s self-serving desires with a higher purpose: to act for the sake of others and the Creator.

The Illusion of Independence

A critical step in this process is recognizing the “famous lie” that we are independent actors, capable of generating our own thoughts, decisions, or actions. In truth, the Creator animates and influences us entirely in every moment. The question is not whether we are influenced but through which channel we receive this influence: through the blind, instinctive ego, which distorts our perception, or through the spiritual simulator, which aligns us with the Creator’s truth.

By accepting that the Creator is the sole source of all actions and intentions, we begin to shift our perception. Instead of acting through the ego’s false and subjective lens, we learn to receive the Creator’s influence through the group’s altruistic framework. This shift allows us to perceive reality more accurately, free from the distortions of egoism.

The Motivation for Transformation

Human existence is inherently driven by motivation and reward. Without the hope of receiving something in return, we struggle to act or sustain effort. The key question is where we derive this motivation: from the selfish ego or from the spiritual environment that aspires to act for the sake of others and the Creator.

In the spiritual group, we engage in a “pretence game” of love and bestowal, acting as if we are already aligned with the Creator’s qualities. This pretense is not hypocrisy but a deliberate practice that allows us to receive new motivation and fuel for existence. By striving to act selflessly within the group, we cultivate the qualities needed to achieve compatibility with the Creator’s system. Over time, this practice transforms our intentions, aligning them with the Creator’s altruistic nature.

The Hidden Intention and the Final Choice

Until the very end of the spiritual process, our deepest intentions remain hidden from us. The ego’s influence is subtle and pervasive, and only through persistent effort within the spiritual group do we uncover the truth of our motivations. At the culmination of this process, we reach a state of divine clarity, where we are granted the ability to make a final choice about our deepest intention: to align fully with the Creator’s benevolent purpose or to remain in the ego’s limited perception.

This choice is not about reward or punishment but about truth. The Creator is described as the singular, purely good, and benevolent force in reality. When we experience suffering or dissatisfaction, it is not because the Creator is unkind but because we have not yet achieved enough equivalence with His qualities to perceive His benevolence. By adopting a new framework of “truth or false” rather than “sweet or bitter,” we focus solely on whether we can justify the Creator as the singular benevolent force. This justification depends entirely on our similarity to His qualities, which we develop within the spiritual group.

The Outcome: Integration and Justification

Through the spiritual group, we gradually forget our egoistic self and focus entirely on justifying the Creator. Our calculations shift from self-centered concerns to a singular goal: achieving compatibility with the Creator’s qualities of love, bestowal, and unity. As we integrate into the Creator’s system, we dissolve our subjective, egoistic worldview and adopt a selfless, independent observer’s perspective.

This observer, unencumbered by ego, roams freely within the Creator’s system, perceiving reality as it truly is — a purposeful, benevolent whole. By attaining this state, we fulfill our unique role in the Creator’s plan, becoming active participants in the singular force that creates and nurtures all of life.

Conclusion: A Life of Purpose

The purpose of life is not found in blindly chasing fleeting desires but in consciously aligning with the singular force that governs reality. Through self-nullification, surrender, and integration into a spiritual group, we transform our egoistic nature and adopt the Creator’s qualities of love and bestowal. This journey requires courage, commitment, and a willingness to let go of the self, but the reward is profound: a life of meaning, connection, and alignment with the benevolent purpose that underlies all of existence.

By embracing this path, we not only discover our unique role in the Creator’s system but also come to know and feel, with unshakable certainty, that the Creator is the singular, good, and benevolent force guiding all of reality. This is the essence of a purposeful life — a life lived in harmony with the singular force that creates and sustains us all.
