If you can’t change it, love it.
In this world of digital media, we often find ourselves doubting the way we look, the way we speak, even the way we exist.
One perfectly edited photo can leave us questioning our worth. One careless comment can echo in our minds louder than any compliment would ever do. Looking at someone else’s life highlights and comparing it to our life, somewhere along the way, we start believing we’re not enough.
I’ve seen people I love, beautiful, radiant souls, question their worth because of filtered skin and picture-perfect trends. Looking in the mirror not to admire, but to criticize, comparing themselves to images that aren’t even real.
I’ve been there too, unlocking new insecurities that I didn’t even know existed in the first place because of influencers telling us to achieve those insane beauty standards. It’s exhausting trying to keep up, and sometimes it just makes you feel miserable. There were days I actually felt confident in my own skin, only to have that shattered the moment someone “prettier” walked by. We all have those moments, but the truth is, we don’t have to let them define how we feel about ourselves.
It hurts watching us forget that these pores, lines, and textures aren’t flaws, but a reminder that we’re just humans. And nothing about being…
