If You’ve Ever Been Deeply in Love, Once You Break Up, You’ll Basically Never Get Back Together
When I was a kid watching idol dramas, I always felt that the plot was so touching, it would make people feel moved to tears.
The male and female leads in the show deeply loved each other, broke up, and then got back together. This kind of love made many people yearn for it, filling them with a mix of pain and beauty.
Maybe the love people crave is like that: it’ll make you feel heartbroken and painful, make you unable to let go of the other person, yet have to let go, and finally, still not be able to let go, breaking up and getting back together multiple times, and eventually growing old together.
But as I grew up, I realized that those idol dramas were just deceiving people. In reality, once you’ve truly deeply loved someone and broken up, you’ll basically never get back together. Only those who have experienced it understand:
A college senior sister of mine had a passionate romance in high school, and they still kept in touch when they went to college. However, they eventually broke up due to distance.
